Loyal Family Fireman

At the weekend, our family and friends gather together to share each other's happiness, with food, wine, toast, under gorgeous light. But the beautiful scene may be smashed due to a little carelessness, which would brings us a lot of unnecessary trouble, such as doesnt close the fire supply after heating food. In fact  we can see such news everyday.

For a family, there are many kinds of reasons lead to fire disasters, careless use of fire,  smoking, children play with fire, electrical equipment burn in, electrical equipment installed irregularly, etc. Fire brings family serious disasters, bad is financial loss, worse is personal injury. But now the Gospel appearedWulian issued a new series products of family security protection class "Wireless Smoke(fire) detectors”, merciless for fire disasters.
Its well-known that, at the beginning of the fire, items because of insufficient combustion often produces a lot of smoke, "wireless smoke(fire) detector"  can detect the change of indoor smoke density in the first time, and respond in advance, when the fire has not yet spread out, it will help you open window or fire water valve. Wireless smoke(fire) detector, just like a loyal family guard, at the beginning of the fire will be able to control the fire in time, the risk would be killed in the cradle.
Depend on its advantages in the field of ZigBee technology, complete product line, and powerful software function, becoming the global leader in smart home industry. The smoke detectors, as a member of the intelligent household product line. Compared with the traditional smoke(fire) detector, its appearance is concise and fashionable, dont need to be installed with wire, concise and convenient. In addition, because the detector can be connected to the Internet of things, so it can send message with voice alarm to smart mobile terminals once the abnormal situation appeared.

No matter what the circumstances of the fire, the wireless smoke detector (fire) can easily deal with. This product is really humanization and intelligent, let our family life more safe and comfortable. We have reason to believe that such a smart home products with consideration for publiccould be really popularized.

Americans Want Smart Homes Because They’re Lazy

If smart homes become ubiquitous over the next few decades, it will be in large part thanks to all the Americans who hate getting out of bed. Or at least, that’s what a Smart Home Automation Leading Brand --Wuailn suggests.
Lowe’s asked more than 2,000 Americans about their thoughts on the smart home, and while just over half said a smart home was somewhat important to them, 70 percent said that they wished they could control a feature of their home without getting out of bed. Whether it’s to adjust the thermostat, turn the lights on, start the coffee, or let the dog out using only a smartphone or tablet—all chores people told they’d like the smart home to do—it seems we all just want to push a button, without emerging from under the comforter .
Americans clearly would  not mind letting technology do the busy work around the home  when asked by Lowe’s which element of the Jetsons’ futuristic home they’d most like to own, 36 percent said they’d like Rosie the Robot.
Although companies like Nest, which was  recently  acquired  by  Google, talk a lot about using the connected home to predict the everyday habits of their users, the Lowe’s survey suggests that these startups may need to do more work to convince the average consumer of the usefulness of their service.Even the much- talked- up potential for increased energy efficiency was not a top priority  according to those surveyed, energy saving was the third benefit of owning a smart home, with 40 percent saying it would be a significant perk, after increased home security (50 percent) and the ability to monitor activity around their house when they were away (46 percent).

Alex Hawkinson, the founder of SmartThings (which was itself recently bought by Samsung), a digital platform that connects devices around the home, might be excited about a customer who used their system and “trained his speakers to play an angelic chorus as he approaches his majestically lit scotch collection,” as he told Time, but it seems people still hope the smart home will serve some pretty basic functions.
So, if Google/Nest, Apple’s Home Kit, Iris, and the Wulian  can make a house a fortress that requires Americans only to lift a finger to tap a phone or tablet, complete with robot maid, then maybe the public can be convinced to buy into the smart-home dream.

Top 3 trends in smart home technology for 2015 and beyond

Top trends in smart home technology for 2015 and beyond

Home is where the heart is, and now thanks to home automation, it’s also where technology thrives. More people want smart home features that let them control their spaces while increasing energy efficiency and cutting waste. In fact, the smart home market is forecasted to hit $12.8 billion by 2017 in North America and Europe alone.
The rapid growth of smart home technology is closely connected to the large number of people who own mobile devices. Today 90 percent of American adults have a cellphone, 58 percent have a smartphone and 42 percent of own a tablet computer, according to the Pew Research Internet Project.
Home connectivity is no longer a novelty – it’s quickly becoming commonplace, allowing you to stay connected to your home from near or far. Here are the top trends in smart home technology today:
Wise water usage
More people are aware of their water footprint and are taking steps to control H2O usage in their homes. Low- flow toilets and shower heads are a start, but technology is taking water usage and conservation to new levels. Wulian  Smart  Irrigation  Systems  is an example of a water treatment system enhanced by  Zigbee  technology. The system softens and treats your water while monitoring water usage, letting you know when softener salt is needed and sends you alerts if potential issues are detected, such as a continuous water flow over a period of time or excess water usage above normal usage. This allows you to make adjustments to save money on utility bills, plus provides peace of mind that problems can be corrected before expensive repairs are required. This is on top of the inherent savings water softeners provide in hard water areas, reducing the amount of soap and cleaning agents needed and saving on energy bills. Also, if you choose, Temperature  &  Humidity  Detector  enabled systems can be programmed to send alerts and diagnostics to a local irrigation  dealer who can monitor the system and provide maintenance as needed. For more information, visit Wulian.
Heating and cooling control
Heating and cooling accounts for more than half of the energy used in a typical American home, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. It’s no wonder homeowners want tech-savvy solutions to cut bills. Programmable thermostats are affordable and readily available, and when used correctly, they can save homeowners up to $180 per year in energy costs. Some smart thermostats even allow temperature adjustments to be made remotely from smartphones while providing energy statistics to help you control costs. Zoned heating and cooling systems are also gaining traction, meaning that you can heat or cool certain parts of the home based on where you spend the most time.
Smart security systems
For years, home security alarms consisted of sensors that detected break-ins and responded with loud sirens. Today, security systems literally put a home’s safety and efficiency in the palm of your hand. Video cameras and alerts let you know when children arrive home from school or when packages are delivered. Fire alarms integrated into the system alert you of smoke, fires and the presence of carbon monoxide and other poisonous fumes.
We live in a digital age and homeowners are embracing smart home technology for everything from water treatment to home safety.  The result? Homes are more efficient and secure, and homeowners are conserving natural resources while saving money on utility bills. Perhaps it’s time to hop on the bandwagon and consider intelligent home improvements? There are definitely benefits – and you’ll have the smartest home on the block.

Why Make Your Home a Smart Home?

Smart Home is a cutting-edge, fully connected home. Turning your home into a smart home gives you a lot more than the title of techie king of the neighborhood. By networking your home, you can do a bevy of things, including the following:
  • Access the Internet from anywhere in your house:

  • A home network lets everyone share in the broadband wealth, so you can stop fighting over the one computer with the high-speed connection. What's more, by having a communications backbone (wiring infrastructure) in your house, you can let anything — from your TV set to your car — tap in and make use of that connectivity.
  • Remotely control your home:

Want to turn on the kitchen lights and fire up the coffeepot from your bed? Click your remote control, and out go the lights. Want to check the babysitter while you're at your neighbor's party? Log into your home's controller from your neighbor's computer (or on your cell phone) and check up on things.
  •  After your home network is connected to other networks, such as the Internet, you can suddenly do amazing things from almost any interconnected spot. The ability to control a device after it is hooked up to the network is limited only by the openness of the device itself. (In other words, the only limit is the degree of controllability of the device — your home's infrastructure won't hold you back.)
  • Save time:

  •  Think about how much time it takes every day to open the shades, turn on the morning news, let the dog out, and so on. Wouldn't you like to do all that (and more) with one command? By programming these chores into task profiles, you can.
  • Save money on electronics:

  • With a true home network, you have to buy fewer devices to outfit your home. Instead of having a VCR hooked to every TV set, for instance, you can centralize this functionality and distribute the signal around the house through remote control as you need it. The same is true of almost any network-connected device, such as a DSS satellite receiver, PVR, and cable box.
  • Save money on communications costs:

You might already have a single broadband link to share with everyone at home. But if your connection is like a lot of peoples', it goes down more often than you prefer. Some people are installing two broadband connections (one as a backup) in their homes. Being able to have the kids do homework and mom and dad do their necessary browsing is starting to become mission-critical. So a home network will help you share this backup line too!
  • By centralizing access to certain telecommunications services, you can cut monthly service costs. For instance, with a home-network backbone, both you and your spouse can connect to the Internet on separate computers while sharing one line and one account. What's more, you can share a high-bandwidth option — such as a cable modem, DSL link, or HughesNet-type satellite service — with the entire family.
  • Save money on your home expenses:

  •  A wired home can turn back those thermostats when you're away on vacation or cuddled under your blankets at night. It can turn lights off automatically, too. Over time, you may save a surprising amount in heating, cooling, and electricity costs.
  • Save money on the future:

  • At different times in your life, you may find yourself changing the way you use certain rooms — a guest room becomes a nursery or the garage becomes an office, for example. Changes like these can be expensive if you try to bring your network along for the ride. Instead, have a flexible home-network design — one that's future-proofed for all sorts of contingencies — and save money down the road.
  • Be more flexible and comfortable with your technological assets:

  • A home network frees you from being tied to one spot for one activity. For instance, when working late at night, you might want to move the laptop to a comfy recliner instead of a damp basement office. And you can with a distributed means to access the Internet — and therefore your centralized e-mail, calendar, and contact database. The latest home networking technology will route your HDTV signals around your house, freeing your TV set to be anywhere a wireless signal can reach!
  • Lose more fat:

  •  A smart home won't stop you from eating chocolate cake, but it will spice up the exercise room. You can run Internet access, CNN, or exercise videos over your home network to help you keep pace and pass the time on a treadmill or bicycle. And, with Internet access, you can access many of the neat new software programs that combine with new exercise equipment to provide passing scenery or live competitors as you row, row, row your rowing machine!

The Business Of Home Automation

The Business Of Home Automation

Today I will share you some information about home automation.
If we think about the homes that have a broadband connection today as the total addressable market for home automation, the home automation market size turns out to be around $8.8 billion at $100 spent per home or $880 billion at $10,000 for example in the U.S. If we are a little more conservative and say that only those broadband subscribers who use smartphones are targets, the range turns out to be about $5.63 – $563 billion. In order to capture this opportunity a number of business models have come into play. While these are not new business models, it is interesting to see how this opportunity is being captured.
The Free approach: Here home builders are embracing the the art of negative margin by giving away connected devices for free as part of home sales. In doing so home builders appear progressive and invested in home innovation with the goal of attracting more buyers.
DIY: Before IOT became more mainstream, the rich and the famous built fascinating homes using custom service providers that build connectivity into the home. This business model will continue to exist but will account for a smaller percentage of the home automation market over time as IoT devices mature, become cheaper, easier to install and use.
The promise of double digit sales growth is attracting a number of players, big and small, to the home automation market.
There is a company Wulian, supply the whole set of home automation, which with simple installation. If  you want to konw more information, please

ZigBee is a specification for wireless personal area networks (WPANs) operating at 868 MHz, 902-928 MHz, and 2.4 GHz. A WPAN is apersonal area network (a network for interconnecting an individual's devices) in which the device connections are wireless. Using ZigBee, devices in a WPAN can communicate at speeds of up to 250 Kbps while physically separated by distances of up to 50 meters in typical circumstances and greater distances in an ideal environment. ZigBee is based on the 802.15 specification approved by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Standards Association (IEEE-SA).

ZigBee provides for high data throughput in applications where the duty cycle is low. This makes ZigBee ideal for home, business, and industrial automation where control devices and sensors are commonly used. Such devices operate at low power levels, and this, in conjunction with their low duty cycle (typically 0.1 percent or less), translates into longbattery life. Applications well suited to ZigBee include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting systems, intrusion detection, fire sensing, and the detection and notification of unusual occurrences. ZigBee is compatible with most topologies including peer-to-peer, star network, and mesh networks, and can handle up to 255 devices in a single WPAN.

Have you ever had experience like busy around to turn on or off the lights several times during your date at home, just try to create right atmosphere for different needs like: sharing photo, having dinner and watching movies? Are you the guy who often needs to stand by the switch so you could turn on the light right after the birthday person blow the candles off, but miss the chance to be in the picture when that moment happens or awkwardly turn the lights on at the wrong time? Will it be great, if there is someone, who will control the lights perfectly according to your needs and you can just enjoy the party with your friends?

Sounds really interesting right? Wait, we got more. One of the biggest differences between Wulian and other smart home automation besides ZigBee wireless technology, is its products can be linked with others. Just imagine that, once you link your light with IR motion detector you can make the lights dance with your friends or your date, wherever your girl goes the lights follow her, how romantic is that!

Of course the smart lighting management solution can do more than that, you can design everything yourself. With long press on the lighting function button you will find all the remote control, time setting and linkage with other devices inside there. It is really easy to create a breathtaking atmosphere for your date.
